What Will I Be Doing?
The Project Engineer installs, troubleshoots, supports, and delivers technology and IT solutions to customers to include servers, networking, firewalls, cyber-security, email, cloud, backups, and more. The Project Engineer also works closely with clients and the Help Desk team to solve more complex issues. Ultimately, the Project Engineer delivers the technology solutions that make customers' networks better and deliver the promise IMPACT provides for its clients.
Job Requirements
To do this job and be great at it, you must have previous experience, enjoy helping others, using and troubleshooting technology, and ultimately solving problems.
This is an in-office position. Your primary place of work will be at the company's office. Please do not apply if you are not within 2 hours of office location or not willing to relocate.
Requirements of the position include:
- Configure and install technology and IT solutions for customers
Plan, configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support:
- Endpoint devices such as desktops, laptops, workstations, computers, tablets, peripherals, etc.
- Printers, scanners, peripherals, etc.
- Windows XP to Windows 11 management, deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.
- Cabling and network infrastructure such as racks, cabling, patch panels, UPS devices, power management, etc.
- Cloud hosted VoIP PBX handsets and peripherals, etc.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software based issues
- Proficiency with Windows OS
- Provide Incredible Customer Service
- Train Client Users to Enhance Technology Use and Skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills; effectively manage multiple priorities
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Ability to use various tools to install necessary hardware
- Ability to hold a conversation both non-technically and technically on problems, solutions, etc.

Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- College degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred
Certification Requirements
- Certifications preferred in Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Azure, Cisco Meraki, CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+.
- Obtainment of Certifications is required annually.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $48,000-$60,000
- Bonus Pay for Quarterly Metrics
- Commission Pay for any Management Incentives
- Paid Training and Certifications
- Holiday On-Call Pay
